SSP Scholarship 2020-21

SSP Scholarship 2020-21 - The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to underprivileged students. The scholarship has been launched by the Karnataka government and students can apply for the SSP Scholarship 2020-21 on - ssp.karnataka.gov.in. The scholarship amount will be directly transferred to the Aadhaar account of the selected students. There are 4 departments that offer these scholarships to meritorious and needful students.

SSP Scholarship Last Date 2020-21

The last date to apply for SSP Scholarship 2020 - 21 is 30th April 2021.

SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2021

Students belonging to Minority Communities and studying from class 1 to 10th can apply for the Pre-Matric Scholarship.

The documents required for post-matric and pre-matric scholarship are:

Eligibility Criteria

Students with at least 50 % marks in the previous examination.
The family income of the student should not exceed 1 lakh per annum.

SSP Post Matric Scholarship 2021

Students can apply online for a Post Matric scholarship. Students who are in their 11th & 12th and pursuing B.Com/ITI courses are eligible for the scholarship. It is to be noted that 30% of the SSP Scholarship amount is reserved for girls. The last date to apply for the SSP post-matric scholarship is 30th April 2021.

Eligibility Criteria

Students with at least 50 % marks in the previous examination.
The family income of the student should not exceed 2 lakh per annum.
The student should be pursuing any course after class 10th.
The student must be a domicile of Karnataka.

Students in graduation, post-graduation and PhD can also apply for the scholarship.

SSP Scholarship 2020-21 Application Process

Apply for the Scholarship by following the steps mentioned below :

Step 1: Registration

Visit the SSP Scholarship official website.
Click on ‘Create Account’ and select the ‘Pre-matric’ checkbox and enter the SATS ID and click on ‘Get Data’.
The details of the students will get displayed on the screen.
If all the details are correct, then click ‘Yes’ and continue. Otherwise, click ‘No’ and reenter the valid SATS ID.
Student can contact the school for corrections if the entered SATS ID is correct and the details displayed are incorrect.
Now enter the mobile number and click on ‘Submit’ to get an OTP on the number.
Confirm the OTP and change the password as per the instructions described on the page and click ‘Submit’.
The student will receive their User ID and password to the registered mobile number.

Step 2: SSP Scholarship Portal Login

Log in to the website using User ID and password.
The student will get access to the ‘Student Account’ Homepage.
Enter the Aadhar details, NSP ID, Income and caste certificate RD number, and other personal details and click on ‘Save and Proceed’ to generate acknowledgement.
The acknowledgement page will get displayed on the screen.
If the applicants’ parent has an Aadhar card, he/she should click on ‘e-Sign’. An OTP will be sent to the Aadhar registered mobile number which the applicant should confirm.

SSP Scholarship Renewal 2020-21

To renew the SSP Scholarship, the following steps can be followed by students.

Go to the official website of SSP Karnataka. i.e. https://ssp.karnataka.gov.in/
Click on the ‘Student Login’. Now log in using user Id and password.
Click on ‘Renewal Form’ to edit the application form.
Fill in the correct information and submit the form.

How To Check The Status Of SSP Scholarship 2020-21?

Go to the official website of SSP Karnataka, i.e. https://ssp.karnataka.gov.in/
On the Homepage, click on the ‘Track Student Scholarship Status.’
Enter your SATS ID and select Financial Year.
Click on the ‘Search’ button to check your scholarship application status.

Selection Procedure of SSP Scholarship

Students applying for SSP scholarships are selected based on financial status and family income. If the family income of two or more students is the same, students will be chosen based on Birth, and the student possessing more age will be preferred. The scholarship benefits cover course fees and other expenditures which will be transferred to the beneficiary’s Aadhaar account through the DBT process.
